I have been lucky - two trips, two bears. Took a cinnamon in Idaho in 2002 and a black in British Columbia in 2004. We did see a great blonde on the Idaho trip but we could not get on it, saw 16 different bear that first afternoon.

I got lucky, (or as a buddy puts it I've got a horse shoe somewhere
) I was in Saskatchewan on my first night ever bear hunting and while at full draw on a average black, I heard a stick break. I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw a 180# blonde headed to the bait! I let down and waited a few minutes until it gave me a 15 yd broadside shot, had it been 10 seconds later I would have had to watch the blonde through my tears of dissapointment! I since have taken a large black, and got greedy on the last trip, I was holding out for a choclate w/ a white patch we had seen so I passed a good black and came home empty. I don't know if I'll make the same mistake this spring or not?

I saw a beautiful blonde sow last year but we couldnt take her because she had cubs. One cub was black and the other was blonde like its mama. Sure was a beautiful trio!

Bear hunting with a bow can be addicting. I wish I had a bear hunt scheduled for this spring to handle my fix.
Cinnamon is very cool looking to me when compared to all the green around them, they just pop out in contrast a bit more like a blonde would do too.

I voted for black bear. I would love to experience a bear hunt. I get excited when a turkey or a deer comes in - don't know how I would react to a bear
It would be an neat experience

I have a couple jet blacks, so I really want a color faze now. I would also like one with a big white blaze as well. I guess I need to head west for the color faze as we don't see lots of color varitions out east.
