When serving a new string , if you make them , do you serve the string under pressure and if so how much ?

I actually manufacture a string serving machine and have made several for different proshops/string makers over the years who use Brownell and BCY materials. I usually set up the machines to my customers specs. and typical amount of pressure (lengthwise tension) that is requested its 350 - 400 pounds. Hope this helps

We don't make our strings, we shoot the ones we get right on our HOYT's. Tim does make the string jigs and he can help more than us....
