Thumbs up My Luck Has Turned!!

Well I finally got those misses behind me this morning and got the second leg of the bow slam. I didn't hear much gobbling but, around 8am, the white hen showed up and convinced 4 jakes to come in front of the blind. The longbeard must be gone, bc the jake I shot was gobbling and in full strut. He has about a 3.5in beard, one of the others had a longer beard but this guy was the dominant bird so I took him.

Congrats buddy! It only took you 3 shots to connect! It must run in the family! For those who dont know his dad goes by the name "3 shot Scott". All kidding aside congrats. You worked hard for this with all the scouting you did.
