Smile

We were in Missouri for the weekend. We got at the hotel late that night s we decided to sleep in that mornig. Got a good hot breckfast and about 10:00 we headed out to the field. It was a long walk and we finally got situated. Nothing really seemed to be happening so I started reading my book. Right as we decided to have a snack my dad said "Oh my gosh Kestrel there's a turkey right there. I put my things away and tried to get a good look at it. It was about 85 yards away. It seemed like it wasn't too sure about something. It walked over by the creek and unexpectedly layed down. It's head started turning wight. He got up and started pruning it's feathers. We purred a little and it came into the decoys. I then shot him and he was about 30 yards out when i shot him as I say curiosity killed the turkey. I shot him in the same field as the bird I shot last year. This was My 2nd ever turkey!
