Thumbs up Kestrel gets her Missouri Bird

Well a quick weekend trip to Missouri ended very well. My daughter Kestrel was able to connect on a nice Missouri gobbler and I was lucky enough to capture it on camera. She did a great job and i am VERY PROUD OF HER! I let her get on leter and tell the story if she wants to but for now here's a couple pics. Bird weighed 23.5#, 10.5" beard 1.125" spurs.

Very nice!!!

Hey Gary....what setting did you use for these photos? I am still struggling with my new D40x.
I've been using it in Aperture Priority mode and playing with the white balance....but everything seems over exposed.

Maybe I need to play with the ISO???

Great Bird!!!
