I finally got my first bird...what a rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was getting down to the last hour to hunt, so we decided to move. Walked to the other end of property hoping we could make something happen. We were runnin and gunnin!!! We called and heard a gobble down in the bottom, so we thought we would move close to the bottom and set-up. So we moved about 40 yards and heard alot of noise coming from the woods, about 30 yards away. We were looking to see what it was, when we finally saw what it was, we got excited....it was 2 jakes fighting and fighting hard. I have never seen anything like it...it was a awesome expieriance. We sat on the ground about 30 yards away, got the camera rolling and these birds went at it for about 10-15 minutes. While they were fighting they were moving closer and closer to us. Now they are about 15 yards away, coming to a opening in the timber, but I could not shoot because there heads were interlocked and pecking at each other. I think they finally saw us or saw some movement( we were stuck in the wide open) Finally they parted and got a little nervous, and that is when I had my 15 yard shot.....the T.C. put him right down.
What a awesome way to get my first bird...I am really happy

I want to thank my hunting partner FIREDIVER again for making this possible! thanks buddy!!!!!!!!!!! ya-hooooooo!!!

I am hooked on turkey hunting now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
