I was using an Avery waterfowl bag. But my camera and its accessories out grew it!
Need to find a bag thats somewhat water proof.

I got one of the Mad Dog Gear camera bags and love it but I'm just using a small Canon handheld. I'd look into them to see if they'd work for you though.

I'm using that same Mad Dog bag for my Nikon D40x and spare lenses. It definitely won't work for your PD170 but is a great bag for the smaller stuff.
I've been doing some checking myself because my bag is quickly getting full. I'll let you know ASAP if I find something that will work. |

I think this bag might work pretty well.
Extra Large Floating Blind Bag Extra-large Floating Blind Bag is water-resistant and features lots of pockets for storing waterfowl equipment. Zippered dry pocket keeps valuables safe. The bag is reinforced with closed-cell foam to keep it afloat. AdvantageŽ Max-4 HD. Model #08739...Extra Large Floating Blind Bag NEW |

I've got a similar mad dog gear bag (think it's actually a cooler) it's a little too small for the z1u but works great for my smaller camera and accesories. Maybe maddog could make a camera bag for the bigger cameras????

Otherwise for my Canon EOS 20D I use a Domke F-1X that actually was used by a photojournalist who covered the War in Iraq - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ulder_Bag.html

Here's an idea for those that like to just carry a regular Camera with them for those Kodak moments that might appear.
Use a Compact Binocular Case to carry your handheld camera in. They're cushy, and velcrow shut and some have belt loops as well. |
