Mental note: do NOT go to Widoes for dinner.
I dont care how good you say they taste. However I would like to shoot a fat doe from the deck eatin pears .I was shooting in one of those tunnels with the video screen at the end and blunts on the arrows years ago. Right before I let go the arrow fell off the string. The cable slide hit the screen and I found out later I cracked both limbs on my mountaineer. They replaced them for free .They had pretty good cutomer service, surprised when they went under. Anyway thats when I learned my nocks must snap on the string.

I have done accidentally a few times - I have also had 3 or 4 bows explode on me, this was back in the 80's though when the cables were metal with tear drops on the end

I had a set of strings snap at full draw a few weeks ago , had a burr in my new slider and it rubbed my Y Cable threw in just a few shots , that sounded like a bomb going off .
