Favorite rifle caliber?

Have to add .257 Roberts. I have one and love it. When I go to Montana every year I like to shoot a .284 that I have up there. That is my favorite up there. .284 is a great deer caliber. It also has the old Redfield Wide Angle Scope on there, which I also love.

I shoot a browning 280 rem. one step up from the 270 and flatter and hits harder that a 3006... a one shot killer in the right hands of course.

I love a .270! My bro-in-law has a CZ-USA Model 3 .270 Short Mag that I love. I just don't have one. Maybe someday. I got my fill of .300's so I think a .270 is next. Shot a 200 lb sow at 170 yards on a dead run quartered away with a .270 Winchester Model 70 that was my buddy's. She did a nose dive in the pasture and never took another step. I commented on how much I liked it but I dared not ask him to sell it. It is his favorite rifle.

I have two favorite calibers

257 Roberts for animals up to Mulie
264 Win Mag for elk and moose.

I have a .338-06 Imp for Alaska bear, but it just sits in the safe.

Given my choice? My new design bow.

I currently use a Browning stainless steel A-Bolt, chambered in 375 H&H mag, I use 270 gr rem. express, I know, alot of people have told me that it is overkill for whitetails, BUT , it is what I like. I had a 30.06, used 180gr. core-lokt, I handed down to my son, it has been a darn good gun, we both have killed alot of deer with it, I also have a 7mm mag, use 175 gr. killed alot of deer with it also.
