I'd like a chance to meet Ralph and Vicki no matter where it is. However, I don't get much chance to go out west. Last time I was in Colorado was in 2001 to visit my brother in Golden, and he's moving back to Georgia in July.

OK, so we will be out west, but maybe too far west now!! Bass Pro has asked Ralph and I to be at the Mesa AZ, Las Vegas NV and Rancho Cucamonga CA stores on that weekend!!
I am not sure which day we will be where yet, but I am guessing that we will be at each store for one day.
So atleast we will be closer!! Just wanted to give you a heads up!!

Great White Hunter - Don't laugh at me, but when I first read the name of the town Rancho Cucamonga, I thought it was fake! I remember claiming to have cucamongaphobia, now it may have been true!!

Did someone say that Vickie ...oh yes and Ralph... were coming out west to Montana .. would be a 12 hour drive from us .. but would gladly make the drive to see ...OK the both of you.. Ralph and Vickie, i do have a lot of questions about setting up my bow .. and can think of no one better to ask than Ralph ..

It's actually a pretty nice place.

Visited them last year the first week of January. We took my son to the beach (he'd never seen the ocean before) - he played ALL day in that water with his regular clothes on (OOPS!) - Had to buy him new clothes on the way back to the beach - Destroyed his clothes! - Had to throw them away at the beach - He was naked as a jaybird in his booster seat - had to cover him up with a coat (which I didn't need that week).

Then we took him to Disneyland. My ma had gotten a new Nikon digital camera (the new HIGH tech one). I swear you'd a though she was papparazzi the way she was taking pics of her grandson. It was a great trip. The weather is perfect there (which explains the 25 million people in that state.

Aside from all the nuts on the road I think you'll really have a good time. There IS great hunting in California (bear, mule deer, blacktail deer, elk, antelope, turkey, hogs, ducks, geese). Unfortunately it's inundated with anti - hunters to the 'nth degree!

Also, contrary to what most believe it is still the largest agricultural state in the country and is MOSTLY untouched country aside from LA, Orange County, San Diego, Oakland, and San Fran it is pretty much just country there.

Hope your coming back to TTHA in DFW again this year. I'd love to see ya'll again!

That's awesome that you all are coming out! I was aiming for Colorado ... but I'll take Vegas. 10 hours away is close enough!

Cheri has an uncle out there and we could easily make arrangements.

Sounds like a whirlwind tour though... That's a lot of plane time.
