Here are some pictures from this winter, Ice fishing on Lake Simcoe, Ont.

Lake Trout and Whitefish all the way. 17 in total over the course of the winter. Biggest trout 9lbs 3oz, Biggest Whitie was 6lbs 3oz.






These all were caught the last day my hut was on the lake. 4 Trout and 3 Whities.

So how is white fish on the dish to eat? Never caught one in all the dozen or more fishing trips into Canada.

One of the best eating there is in the local waters. Next to walleyes of course.
