debated whether or not to post this, but what the heck. besides all the things listed, have to add the political correctness some hunters show. sorry folks, we do not harvest critters. we kill them. you harvest crops, we kill animals. like it or not, at the root of all we do, we kill our prey and then try to give it a nicer name.

AMEN! I totally agree with you!! It irks me when someone says they harvested an animal. I suppose in our society of excess, "harvest" is easier to swallow.

Saying that I'll pick up my huntin buddy at 5:00 am to go hunting and when I get there I have to wait 15-20 minutes for them to get ready.
Taking a "guest" hunting with me and then they turn around and think that they should be able to hunt there all the time or go around your back and try to get there own permission from the landowner. |

I one thing that gets me is when people decide to hunt and buy a new gun or bow and think that they can hunt with it the next day without setting it up and practicing with it. Or the hunter that pulls his weapon out the day before season and cant hit the side of a barn from the inside, but is going hunting in the AM. This just burns me up like nothing else

1. Poachers!! I try to turn them all in when I see them, even if they are family. These people are what gives hunting and hunters such a bad rap all the time.
![]() 2. Hunters that pull someone else's cat-eyes out of trees just because that person beat them to finding the good spot on public land. Or hunters that follow someone else's cat-eyes in and take over their hunting spot because they are too lazy to scout on their own on public land. ![]() 3. Hunters that don't follow the safety blaze orange laws during rifle deer season on public hunting land and then when you accidentally walk too close to their still hunting spot because you didn't see them (lack of blaze orange) throw a fit and give you rude gestures. ![]() 4. Hunters that see you still hunting wearing a completely blaze orange hunting suit in rifle deer season and then walk right up to you and say "Hi, how's the hunting?"...I so many times wanted to reply..."Good until you came along." lol ![]() 5. The hunters that I hear shooting more than 5 rounds in a row at deer or multiple deer and then stop and reload and shoot more. I don't see how they are possibly still able to see the deer that long to continue shooting. If you can't hit the deer in one or two rounds please do the deer and the other hunters a favor and go learn to shoot more and come back next year. ![]() 6. The guy hunters that find out I'm a girl that hunts and talk down on me for it or better yet can't believe that girls are "allowed" to hunt. ![]() 7. Trappers that lay a trap on public land directly on a hiking trail. It's not fun having a trap jump up in the air and smack you in the shins or clamp onto your hunting outfit or worse yet trap someone's dog out for a walk or kid.
