This last friday i took my wife and daughter and one of the kids she watches out for a hike to our local desert in our provincial park it's been closed all winter and still closed but you can walk in we headed up to the dunes me keeping a close watch on the hillsides looking for sheds. We get to this lookout platform that over looks a ravine on one side and the sand dunes on the other I got my binos scanning and there it is my first shed for the season 300 yards from the lookout laying on a side hill. I've hiked alot of miles this year so far looking for sheds hopfully my luck will change.

I agree with finding them can be tough at times but it sure is fun getting out there and looking and finding new stand locations old rubs and scrapes which all lead up to the next year. I picked another one up 2 weeks ago with my daughter.
