Default Bear Mounts
Ok guys and gals, I am getting ready to go on my first spring bear hunt and would like to be prepared in case I get one.

I need you to post pictures of your bear mounts.

I am trying to see which pose i would want if I am lucky and nail one with the bow in May.

So please, SHOW ME THE BEARS

jersey jeff, best suggestion I can give you on this is what I've done. go to one, or more, of the taxidermy form catalogues online, and see what you like with the forms available. decided my full mount is going to be one walking with one foot in the air. another cool one I saw was a guy had one mounted in a sitting position. looked like winnie the pooh sitting on the couch. good luck.

here is a little brown colored bear that the taxidermy is doing for me right now and the other one is a shoulder mount I got on my first bear.It wasn't big enough to get a rug yet but this year I'm hoping.

TLC has a good idea...to check out the online catalogues. Here are a couple that I have done, both were smaller bears.

Thanks guys, I have looked at all of the manikins and have seen the different selections. It is hard to imagine what they will look like with fur on them though. Keep the picks coming I know you guys have them.

I am suppose to pick up my bear mount this week, if the rain will hold off. It is a full body mount so I have to put in the back of the pickup.
Here is the kicker...the taxidermist has had this bear for FOUR (4) years. Seriously....mmm...probably will not let him do anymore work. I am just hoping that it is what I asked for.
Will post pixs after I pick it up.
