I do love dove hunting once in a while though with the old shotgun. That is just pure fun!
What's the largest game that you have taken?

Love to hunt period, but using the bow seems to elevate the blood pressure and gives you the shot of adrenelin we all like to experience.

Archery first, Muzzleloader second and then my shotgun/rifle depending on what I'm hunting. Archery just adds another trill factor into the whole experience. What a rush!

My Traditions muzzle loader, in .50 cal. I've had it about 6 years now. Where I live you can only use shot gun or muzzle loader for deer. And you need the range of a muzzle loader to reach out and "harvest" your deer in the fields. I've seen too many deer messed up by guys who shoot them full of holes with a slug gun.

Right now I prefer my 7mmRem mag,but the more I shoot my new Marlin 1895 45/70 the more I like it.Haven't had chance to shoot anything with it other than paper targets but will trying it out on coyotes next weekend(weather permitting).

I enjoy hunting with all 3, gun, bow and shotgun. I am a blue collar type guy who loves putting backstraps in the freezer. My favorite gun is my Shiloh Sharps 45-70gov. Iron sights makes those 300 and 400 yard shots interesting. This said bow hunting is my greatest passion. Good hunting all shot straight.

Now my "choice" is my brand-new (new to me, anyway) MOSSBERG 12-GAUGE SHOTGUN! For the story on how that came about, check out my "God is so good" thread in the ACM hangout section.
