" But the effects linger to this day! ![]() Youngbuck, I used to shoot the "other" brand as well. This will be my first Hoyt and first split limb bow. It has the smoothest draw I've ever felt. I'm very excited!

They're both excellent bows. The big change for me was the Hoyt shop is practically at the end of my street and the guys are really helpful. The Mathews shop is 20+ minutes away and the guys aren't as helpful.

I switched from the other brand also, I can honestly say that I love my katera....sweet shooting bows. i have never shot a bow with a 6'' brace height that is so forgiving. oh and fassssssst.

I liked the DXT and Katera both when I shot them. But the Katera went home w/ me!!
