Whats a trophy tom to you?

Everyone is a trophy to me. But what makes one extra special? Is it the beard length, spurs, weight, or the one that took 2 weeks to get. To me I like the spurs with the beard being a close second.

give me 2 inch spurs anyday over a big ol beard.....maybe 1.5 for other states...
any bird i shoot is considered a trophy to me, i hunt public land, lol...my one and only jake has one of the better tail mountings that i did,lol...he deserved it...that hunt was all about friends and it's a reminder of what hunting is to me ....I would consider any beard over 9 in. a trophy or lets say any 3 yr. old or older regardless of what he has or doesn't have....the weight, well ,my best birds have only weighed 14-17 lbs., so thats not a factor for me, lol.....we got lil skinny birds, lol.....

I'd like to see at least an 8" beard and at least 3/4" spurs.

To me a trophy here in Va. is anything over 20# 1 inch. spurs, and 10 inch beard. OR any tom that will come to the calls. It all depends on the hunt itself that's what memories are made of.

Spurs first, then beard, but those ones that are hard to get into range mean a lot too!

Hey we have never hunted turkey very much, so any turkey that I can get to come in is a great turkey to me! and if my better hafe can get one that will really be a great turkey!
