One eye or two eyes open?

I shoot with two eyes, but I barely look through my second eye 75% of the shot. I only use the second eye for referencing the target as I'm getting aimed on it after first drawing back. Once I'm aimed on it I completely blur out my vision from my second eye or even close it and fine tune my aiming with my dominant eye before taking the shot. If feel it helps me get on my target much faster this way.

Since I only have one good eye. My only choice is one eye.

if you watch me shoot you would think they were both closed....but they are both open......

when I first started shooting it was with one eye, always heard its better to shoot with both open but would get diff impact grous, swiched to a recurve and shot with both eyes open, now shooting compound and recurve and shoot with both eyes open, I think part of my prob was shooting a peep or to small a peep. now don't use one, so far so good

I gotta go with one eye. I'm like Kevin and I shoot a pistol with my right hand, but I'm left eye dominant, so I shoot across my body. I toyed with the idea of purchasing a left-hand bow, but when the time came, I went RH. Just couldn't make the transition. I shoot a scoped 30-40 Craig rifle, and I am 1 eyed there as well.

I've tried shooting 2 eyes, but holy smokes... everything on the right side goes away. Literally. I can't even see the peep, let alone see through it!

I'm all kinda messed up.

One eye open, the left. I'm left eye dominant, I shoot left hand, am left handed and left sided. The only way I can shoot bow or gun.

years ago a good friend told me to start shootin with both eyes open and my accuracy would improve. well turns out he was right. i'm a firm believer in shooting both bow and firearms with both eyes open. with my scoped rifle i alternate between both eyes open and one closed. with shotguns, pistols, and open sight rifles, both are open.

I tried using both eyes and I'll hit the target okay, but it just doesn't look right.

2 for me . I was using one when I first started but the guy that tought me to shoot got me using both and I shot much better.

no matter how many times i've tried ,i can only shoot with one eye open!
