Default Wolf shot close to me

Word on the street is that a VERY LARGE wolf was killed just 30 miles from me in NW Illinois. This came from a very reliable source but I'm going to wait until I read about it in the paper.....

I actually believe the story...but not to sure about the stats on it...6 ft and 180 lbs.

Thats a big wolf,I've always wanted to shoot one.Maybe one day.My brother in law said he had one running around the farm some were and I thought he was full of crap but there ended up being one.It ended up one night chasing 1200 head of cattle through the correls. Some one finaly shot it and it was 6'7" and a nice black.

Maybe it got out of someones pen. When I was a kid there was 2 of them in a pen 5 miles from me. I used to be afraid to go past the farm. Anyway let us know if you hear more.

IF IT WAS true It would make some big news. Especially if it were from a pack and not someones escaped exotic pet. There's folks all over raising wolves in pen or so-called half wolf crosses and they look like a total wolf. The local, State and federal government usually is informed of these animals.
