Hello guys,
I have a question about these blinds and was hoping you could help me out and tell me how you guys like the blinds overall? I want to get a new blind this year and have seen that you use the ameristep line and who better to ask! Are they comparable to the Double Bull? Do they make there blinds with the holes you shoot threw with out the frabric? The Double Bull has the holes closed with material with magnets does ameristep? Any feedback would be helpful. I intended to use it for turkey hunting with my son. Thanks Robert |

I've got the Dominator blind, and I love it! It's similar to the doublebull matrix you can shoot 360. It has a zip in floor, accessory pockets, magnetic flaps, call and camera ports. I have not used one yet but have seen them and some of the other posse have nothing but good things to say about the Choice blind by ameristep. It has a mesh shell so you can see everywhere, and has a shaggie shell to break up the outline. I have a double bull (ip5) and I do like it, it's a great product but I honestly do prefer the ameristep blinds, just some of the features are more user friendly (IMO) and most of them are more affordable than the Doublebull line. My hunting partner bought a Brickhouse by Ameristep (about a $100) this year for us to film out of, we set it up mid september left it up all season and had absolutey no problems with it. It didn't fade at all and even with heavy snow nothing broke or tore, the roof caved in under snow weight but we brushed it off pushed the roof back up and it was good as new! Just make sure you spend some time brushing them in and tying them down if you plan on leaving them out for an extended period of time. Hope this helps

I bought the Dominator this season to replace my Brickhouse, which was stolen, and I loved.
and the Dominator appears to better alot nicer blind with more features and Cabelas runs sales on them from time to time for $199.00...so watch for that |

Thanks guys for the info!! But i'm still was wondering if the holes have the frabric mesh? I shoot expandables and i'm afraid that the mesh will prohibit this? The DBt5 has no mesh and i have been in one and that one little detail really is what i like. Does the Ameristep have this?

They come with shoot through mesh. But to remove it all you need to do is unzip it. The choice blind doesnt have it at all. Any other questions feel free to ask.
