I cant use a mouttth call to hunt. I get worked up and my mouth gets so dry I cant call. For the puking I never have over a turkey but I do over every buck I shoot. Have no idea why I just cant hold it back. Oh well Holly likes to laugh at me when it happens.

I tried to use one of those mouth calls and it just made gagging sounds. Yeah! I almost puked. I ended up getting a slate call. It was less nauseating although I have to use both hands to get it to work. It sure would be easier if I had both hands free for my shotgun or bow, but alas!

Oh my....are you two related? I've never gotten sick, but I've gotten fur fever so bad I felt like I had just run a marathon and was going to pass out!

I didn't necessarily get sick, but I was so pumped on adrenaline when I got my buck that I could hardly SEE straight, and I fell in the wet oak leaves trying to get to him. Couldn't hardly get my feet back under me to get up, either. Had to crawl to the nearest tree and pull myself up with my arms.

The only time I ever got really excited was when I shot my first deer. Normally my heart races when I see the animal and I focus and analyze the surroundings for the best shot opportunity but other than that I'm rather calm. I'm kinda boring I guess!

Well I have never gotten sick, just very very very excited, nothing like a 1000pound 6x6 bull elk 2 1/2feet from you, no not sick just thought I was going to die!

Never got sick but I always get short of breath and get the shakes really bad after. It's like a big release of adrenaline.

Having said that, I did hunt turkeys one time when I had the stomach flu (Its the pick I posted where I AM NOT smiling). I barely could get out of bed and get dressed but I figured I could be sick inside or I could be sick outside and maybe have a chance...it worked out well for me. Now, as sick as I was, the moment I popped that turkey I felt great for about an hour (adrenaline). After the adrenaline subsided I felt really sick again. When I started getting sick again the guys joked that I needed to go shoot another turkey. The pic I posted was as much of a pic as I could muster that day. I was in bad shape but I got a nice fan for the wall.
