Look into a fall hunt in Ontario. It is close and you can do a complete trip for under $2000.....less if you stick to a budget.

Take your time driving up there.........fish all morning and hunt all afternoon. Stay up late drinking canadian soda and sleep in......or fish......or sleep in the boat the next morning.

for those interested in an inexpensive bear hunt, found one in new brunswick for $1400 all inclusive. have it booked for june 2009. don't know if we will have any openings or not yet, but will know in the next few weeks. the bears in this area are NOT trophy bears. they take a couple three 300 pounders each year, but thats about it. if anyone might be interested, let me know and I'll either email or PM the information to you.

in the past 3 years, they have had 100% sightings, 100% shot opportunities, and have killed 26 bears out of 31 hunters.

Thats a really good price,I know a few people from the east that said a big bear there is around a 5 -5.5 footer.which I think there is nothing wrong with its still a good size bear.

heck that is a good price!! but i will stay here in Minnesota and hunt for $34.00., its a little more work since i do my own baits ., but very rewarding when i shoot that bear!

go to www.dnr.state.mn.us/index.html and you can go from there ., if you have any other questions i will glad to help! i know for a non-residence last year was 201.00 for draw tag ., application was for that is 0.00., but check out the site, it will tell you allot more then i can!
