Default Winter weather

Hey everyone just wondering how the winter was treating you in your area?
I SD it has been a really nice winter right now we have no snow on the ground and temps have been above normal, which is bittersweet on one hand I haven't had to move snow but on the other hand it has been hell on the ice. I love to ice fish but we really have to be carefull where we go, the ice conditions are very unpredictable and we have lost some icefishermen in the area. I just remind myself of last winter and then I don't feel so bad.

It's been plumb weird here in Va. It was in the mid 50s yesterday and spitting snow today. Temps have been WAY above average, but Feb just got here. Mama Nature has habit of reminding us she's in charge, usually, sometime in late Feb or early March. Wished we'da got more snow and cold weather. The ticks oughta be plumb thick during turkey season! Good thing turkeys can't smell the bug repellant I'll have to wear.

What winter? LOL No snow to speak of, we get a dusting and it's gone by noon the next day. Temps have been well above 0* and hardly any ice of the lakes around here. Everyone here is amazed how mild of a winter we have had and the forecast looks like spring is here already. The early wild spring flowers are blooming around here.

Temps this past Saturday were in the mid 60s.
On Sunday, it snowed about all day long. We ended up with maybe 6-8" of it. By Monday afternoon it was mostly gone! Temps on Sunday hovered just above freezing until the sun went down then went down around 20. Monday afternoon it went right back to the mid 50s. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 70s!

SUMPIN AIN'T RIGHT!

WINTER IS HERE! Its a little late but it reminded us we are still in SD. We had a couple blizzards one last weekend which most of the snow melted from that but we got hammered with over a foot of snow the last couple of days.
