Well, I connected on a big Sow. This bear was the biggest taken so far at Larson Lake Outfitters in Spiritwood Saskatchewan. Mark one down for the guys!!!!! .......lol........
I shot this bear out of the same stand that Russ Thornberry filmed his giant bear harvest on Buckmasters TV. ![]() Here is a pic of our hunting group that all connected on bear with Kim Tiringer (owner of Larson Lake Outfitters, pictured second from Right) This Bear pictured was harvested by Jim (pictured 3rd from Left) ![]() Here is a pic of me and my guide Blaine Tiringer (Blaine shot the largest whitetail in 2006 which scored over 250" and is the 12th largest whitetail ever taken. He took me to his house to see the brute in person. ![]()

I forgot to mention that I harvested my Bear with my custom handloaded .338 Win Mag. The other 3 guys in our party used a .338, 7mm Mag, and 300 Win Mag.

here is a better pic,we measured him 6 feet nose to tail and 7.5 feet nose to rear paws.
I missed another nice bear friday night at 12 yards right over his shoulder I think I moved to see my arrow. But saturday night this big guy came in and he looked at me and took off, came back a minute latter looked at me again and turned around and started walking away.I was at full draw and was heading into the heavy bush, there was one spot with 2 trees about 2 feet apart which was my only window(20 yards away) for a shot and as soon as he stepped between I let the arrow fly and put it right through his heart.
