fall black bear in maine

i'll be heading back to maine in 6 days for my third attempt at harvesting my first black bear, i've been getting good reports from my guide that the baits are being hit daily and i'll be in a groundblind this year set 26yds from the barrell. i'll also have a video camera in the blind and a game camera set on video to capture another angle. hopefully i'll get some exciting footage

just talked with my guide in maine, seems the bears have actually dragged off the 55gal barrel so he chained it to a tree so the bears dragged off the blind instead

Boy that's unusual behavior for any animal. Sure it was a bear and not big foot

I wonder how far it got drug off and how bad was it damaged. Sure makes you think about crawling in a blind if that bear makes a habit of carrying off blinds.

it was a ameri-step doghouse torn beyond repair and couple of the fiberglass poles were spillintered, found about 50yds out
