Default I got my Turkey---with a crossbow!
OK has anyone taken a turkey with a crossbow this season yet? Well I did yesterday, April 25 2011, I was hunting for just one hour. I shot him at 3:30 pm in heavy rain. I was using my Wicked Ridge Warrior. My turkey weighed in at 27 lbs. Beard just over 11 inches, could be longer I'm not sure of the right way to measure it. Spurs are just under 1 inch by very little. I will post pic's latter today as soon as I can figure out how to get them off the wife's camera . It's a real pain in the butt to do. Oh yes the picture's are not that great as it was raining heavily so had to take the pic's in the garage!!

CONGRATS!
I had a guy ask me recently why I'd even consider hunting in the rain. I reckon he thought they had somewhere else to go to get out of the rain? Don't know, but what I do kow is I killed my biggest while in one heck of a thunder storm!
