Crossbows in New Brunswick

Starting Sept. 1st,2011 crossbows will become legal to hunt with in all seasons except the 3 week bow only deer season in October.Anyone who wants to hunt with a crossbow must have a bowhunter education card.

Yup I heard that a couple weeks ago.They started allowing them here in Nova Scotia last year(2010).You can use them here in the bear season and general deer season but not the early archery deer season.They are trying to get an early crossbow season started though.
