I wish we had a spring bear hunt here in NM, that would be so much fun!

After last years success I was going to skip this year and wait for my daughter to make it of age next year, but my Rep called and said he wanted me in on a hunt in New Brunswick... So I am in. I hope we might be able to get some film this year as there is nothing like running an arrow thru a bear at the bait!

I'm also hoping to get my bear hunt taped too,if the sister boyfriend can make it up to do it.

I be doing a little practicing with turkeys in early May. The last time out with the cameras was with PSE and a Caribou hunt in Quebec that never made it past the cutting room floor. Film adds such a different spin on the hunt as the shooter no longer calls the shot, but the camera man says when it is time... ahhhh! We did have one guy do it himself while in the tree. He had it on an arm focused on the barrel. Pretty good pics, of the shot but it ended there as you didn't get to see much before or after. But better than nothing.

Beautiful little choc. I saw in another post. I could use his grampa as I really am looking for a color faze to add.

The forest I hunt bears in saskatchewan is just north of llyodminster,it is a great place for color faze bears.I'm hoping to get a blonde 6' + this spring but will take any colour.
