Default Wireless mic
Since I'm not wealthy, by any means, what is a good inexpensive mic set? I looked at sennheiser and about fainted!!!

Don't waste your money on the cheap sonys (model # wcs-999), they work but also put out a lot of static. I'm saving up for sennheisers right now Check out ebay, do a search for roaddogonline it's an ebay store that deals in a lot of pro audio. They seem to have the best prices, and if you call the store before you buy they usually will take a little extra off the listed price!

Thats one thing when it comes to audio. Dont take the cheap way out. Even if you cant afford it right away. Save for it! You will be glad you did!

I checked out roaddog...boy they are a LOT cheaper! Don't get me wrong...$500 or so is a lot...but $2,000 for a mic set?? My gosh! Is it gold plated??

Saving...seems like that's all I'm doing.

Monie we use these (Sennheiser EW112PG2) and they work great. We have never cut out unless we are more than 50 yards away, cost around 600.00
We learned the hard way if you are serious about filming spend the money. Go to dviinfo.net and register and go to there classified and they usually have used ones for sale.
