Hey Ralph. Just wondering what your thoughts are on the Maxxis. I have a Maxxis 31, set-up as is shoots 280 fps, 28" draw, 66.5 lbs. Any recommendations as to what i could do to beef it up.
On it: Cobra 5 pin optics site, Quality Archery Drop Rest, Stabilizer (5oz i think, lower budget). Shooting Easton Power Flight Arrows 400g, Muzzy 100g broad heads, and using the Scott Little Goose Release aid. Thanks! John

Hi John,
Really sounds pretty good on your set up. What vanes are you shooting? Your shooting about 8.4 grains an inch on your Eastons which should give you around 60 ft lbs of Kinetic energy give or take a little bit not knowing exact weight on vanes, inserts, nocks etc... Are you shooting a loop? What is your brace height at it should a 7inches. Sorry fro the delay on this but have a little bit of time since we are home right now. |

Hey Ralph,
hows things going? Did a major hike for a beautiful 7ft red phased bear yesterday. Beautiful animal. Major spot in stock but didn't land him . But I know where he's at so hopefully. Anyways back to my bow. The brae site is 6 1/2 inches. My D-loop is half inch. I have purchased quick fletching from NAP so Im gonna try those out soon. As for the nock and fletching not to sure on the weight. As is I did get the bow chronographed and its shooting 280ft per sec.
