Default YorkArcher is movin

Well its final. I start my new job in Indianapolis on 12 April.

I've hunted out there the last 3 years and was finally able to work something out with a company out there.

Time to slow life down a little and pay attention to whats important!

Like it says in the book "Come November" by Gene Wensel.

"If you want to shoot big whitetails you have to go where they are.." or something like that...

That advice changed me forever...

There is no convenient time, you have to move forward...

A big part of the move is to improve family quality of life and improved career opportunity!

But I would be lying if I said Big Bucks didn't affect my decision!

Will keep you posted on how things are going! Wife still working at her job until the house sells and school is out, so to all my facebook friends, you wont see anything about this on FB and I would appreciate it if it stayed that way.

Thanks.

Indy is about 3 hours from my front door. What direction or part of the Subs of Indy are you looking to move to?

Good luck with getting the family moved..

Yeah all my contact info will be the same....

I will be working on the North Side of Indianapolis. Right by Carmel. Not sure where the final residence will be. Staying in an apartment until the family can join me.

It takes plenty of cash to live in Carmel. Stick with country living.

I have flown into and out of Saskatoon. I have drove around it and it is much smaller than Indy. Indy is close in size to where I live and it is very similar when you drive around it. Lebanon will someday be connected to Indy as grows Northwest and I believe when it was growing that was the main direction it was expanding. South toward Bloomington is still being built up too last I heard. Indy still is a great little big town by that I mean it has a lot of what a big city has but a small town feel. The suburbs give it that feel cause most of the time you don't go near the down town district if you don't work there.

Timba
I know it looks bad but remember I work between Baltimore and DC right now and beleive me! It s an improvement.

BD is right, it was a very clean and friendly city. Limited reason to go downtown. Lebanon will be built up in the future but not as bad as Fishers is already. Lebanon is about 30-45 min from my lease.

The wife and I have to weigh remoteness with commute times. As well as schools and housing costs.

Busy doing chores before I have to head out and leave the wife and kids alone..

We are headed out there this weekend to get the kids used to the idea.
