I could do that job! Laze around during hot weather then get kicked outside when hunting season arrives...?!!! Throw in a little Queen chasin? Heck yeah!

Sounds great, doesn't it? Oh, did I forget to mention that the drone's guts get ripped out as soon as he's done mating?

There are about 20,000 - 30,000 right now, which is typical coming out of winter. They'll build up to around 50,000 - 60,000 over the summer.

Ummmmm that's Mr King Drone please!!
Actually this is a very cool post Monie. How the heck do the bees know to come back to the hive? Especially if I am keeping the queen busy??
You do know the Bees end up suing for their honey back right?
Best of luck to you and your girls! Oh and hope you get that fat 10 point down this fall!!!!!

Yeah, there's one in every bunch.

Here's something that'll make you laugh. I was working the hives today and was bent over most of the time. Well, my bee jacket rode up and my pants rode down. I went to pull up my pants and WHAM! I got nailed on the hind end. I was jumping, yeowling, scratching and laughing. I'm sure I put on a good show for the neighbors! LOL!!
