Watch for rubbed hides. The one that was shot Friday was rubbed real bad. Just a heads up.

They have a very high rate of color phase bears. This is the second time we have been up there and out of 10 bear only 4 have been black.

Well, this is it....the eve of my departure of my first bear hunt. Deer hunting for 35 years and now a new experience. Headed to Alberta tomorrow morning for a 6 day hunt. I hope to post some pictures along with the experience next week. Like a kid at Christmas
