Forgot to put in, don't forget your themocel and Big Bear Spray Scent, works great. We used the shellfish(stinky fish) anise, and formula 15.

I fished out of Hobbs once. I now have another lodge that I like to stay at just down the road but they don't offer bear hunts. Are you trying Outland Outfitting (I have no affiliation to either outfit, just know of them)?

Select Wilderness Adventures up by La Tuque. Mike Labbee and his wife were great on our last trip. They are in a new site this year but not far from where we were.

did you fish Cedar Lake when you weren't hunting? Pretty nice area, eh?

Never got to fish, hunt wasn't quit was expected, went home a day early, but would like to go up in that area, Heard from outland outfitting that the fishing is great, seems likes he gives you a really good hunt.

I finally took the plunge and will be going on my first bear hunt this spring. 35 years of being strictly a deer hunter, I always wanted to do an archery bear hunt. I am like a kid at Christmas.....filled with anticipation. Being a novice, I hope I picked the right time. I know deer hunting has good and bad times so I guess bear hunting does as well. I am booked for May 31 - June 4 in northern Alberta

After your first trip, I hope that you will be hooked. It seems that its an addiction for some of us. My husband, daughter, and myself would rather hunt bears than anything else. We get home from one trip and start planning on were to go next. Where ever everyone hunts this spring have fun. and then start planning your fall bear hunt. We'll be going to Ontario again.
