With hogs do you mainly spot and stalk;or bait an area where there is sign. A place here in Okla. where I duck hunt I found an area back in the back of public ground where nobody in their right mind will walk too. By boat its 45mins down a river channel. The area is torn up so bad it looks like dozers have been in there. I have only seen two sows with piglits;but that cann't be all of them.

There's more in your little spot than one might think. A sow can have a dozen little piglets a year and are ready to breed at 6 mths. This means that 12 sows could turn into 144 in a year (multiply that by 12)
We are overrun down here. A few weeks ago behind our plant I counted 75 in the field at dawn. They do taste great and are a blast to hunt. I have spot and stalked, hunted over feeders, corned roads, etc. They sure love soured corn. Put some of that out and wait it out. If they're close, they'll come, may not be til night but they will definately come.
