I remember our family being glued to the TV for that whole event!! It had a Twilight Zone feel to it. Afraid and excited for those men.

My brothers and I, with our sister and parents, were all in the den watching live as the Eagle landed. I was mesmerized, and at one time wanted to BE an astronaut.

Funny how life gets in the way of our dreams sometimes, isn't it?
