Do you have a "special gun"?

I have 2.
An ooolllllldddd Rem. semi .22 my dad had and my NEF 20ga single shot. The first gun my dad gave me.

mine is a winchester 22single shot bolt action pistol.it was my grandmothers she passed 3yrs back.she used to hunt small game with it i realy miss her.because i would send her pics of my animals that i havested.and she would tell me storys when she was growing up.

Aww...sorry your grandma passed. My grandparents were my greatest inspiration! They, all, taught me to fish and hunt.

Mine is a 16 ga. Rem. semi auto that was my brother in laws. He let me use it the first year I could hunt in Pa. It took him about 7 yrs to get it back, I went in the Navy. He died a couple years ago and my sister gave it to me. I am 60 yrs old, the 5th, I'll be 61. I have killed from ground hogs to deer with that gun, and yes it is SPECIAL!!!

My favorite gun is Ruger 7mm.08...that is just a super fun gun to shoot!
Even killed a bear with it.

I'm partial to my first gun....an old mossberg 500 12 guage...took my first kill with it, i've taken all but 1 of my turkeys with it...had to replace the barrel on it once because i left it between the cab and the bed of the truck and then my sister put it in drive, lol...then we heard it, it was bad, lol.......we've put alot of time in the woods together.....and it's lived through all the abuse too, lol....

Two - my father gave me my first gun / a single shot Steven 410 when I was 12 or so; then in 1972 he purchased me a Browning 20 ga auto Mag for high school graduation (was hoping for a Porsche) but I quess it would be hard to put it in the gun safe. Both have a home there today.
