Well woke up late this morning but hit the fields once again. Long story short I was in the middle of them this morning with in 40 minutes of being in the blind I had seen 4 hens and five mature toms including the one that I harvested with my Drenalin. Very first animal that I have harvested with the Drenalin. Was also using Rage three blades for the first time could beleive it took hm right off his feet. 16 yard shoot as he checked out my modified jake decoy with real tom fan and beard.
This picture was taken once I returned home as I was in the field by myself and without and camera again. ![]() Stats for this bird are; 23lbs 14oz 9 3/8" beard 1 1/8" matching spurs Couldn't get over the number of mature toms in there and the first three were even bigger in body size then this guy, but they didn't want to play with the decoys this morning. Well going out on Friday to chase them with my hunting partner to try an fill his second tag now. Will post pictures once they are down loaded. Matt Last edited by MJewell; 05-13-2009 at 12:10 PM.
