Whats a "shooter buck" to you?

Really anything that's bigger then what I already have is what I look for, but that's not always the case.

I just want a good mature buck. I don't care if it is just a mssive old spike. In fact, that would be rather cool I think.

here in Georgia, I do have to take one "quality buck" (at least 4 points on one side or the other) but the other buck can have as many or as few as I want.

Exactly!!!!! Had an encounter with 130+ this year and thought about it so it got the pass. After reviewing the video footage I made the right choice because Im pretty sure it was a 2 1/2 yr old.

Me personally at this moment and time anything legal in the area I hunt in Pennsylvania (3-points over 1" on one side or better) is fair game. Considering I've yet to shoot an antlered deer in this state I'd just like to shoot at least one antlered deer first before being more selective.

I hold out for 130 or better or something odd looking if don't want to mount it then it walks.

The first thing I look for , to make the "Shooter BUCK" is will he get along with " MY MASH POTATOES AND GRAVY" if he does not he walks..

hi - my own standard that i live with 3 pts. on 1 side,i have no choice if i want a buck. because on my road others shoot all sizes ( if its brown it goes down) thats there right, i go along, may not agree. i do not own the land,nor can i change there mind set. so on my little place a 6 pt. is ok to take,me and my son do not shoot small deer or button bucks ..... on are land or anywhere for that matter.
