ijust bought a pair of danner boots. they are the logger boots with the thick heel. i got them for hunting. do you think i madeagood choice or would you reccomend something else.

I have a 7 year old pair of Danners I wear every chance I can get. So far I have had to replace the laces and I put in some Dr Sholls (sp).
Yes... I'm gellin! ![]() But I love them and until I see my toes they're stayin!

I'll agree that Danner makes a fine boot. I had one pair of Logger Style boots and have never bought another. I prefer a flatheeled boot. I felt like I was walking on my toes in the loggers. They made my back and legs hurt too bad everytime I put them on.

I wore Danner's the whole time I was in the military.
Still where them everyday...( not the military ones ![]() )

I always buy Danners and get them 1/2 size longer. It is better on uneven terrain for me. SRM
