Hi there. I just sent off my deposit for the hunt earlier in the week. I was just wondering if any of you gals out there have booked this yet? I'm soooo pumped up due to the fact that this will be my first time in a deer camp!! I'm hoping my new HOYT AM does me proud!!

Keri--You are going to have an awesome time!! I thought long and hard about this one...I would love to meet everyone as all my adventures are usually "solo"...in the end I just couldn't justify the $ to hunt so close to home. Now if it were a color phase bear hunt I would have been all over it!!! I am positive it will be a camp full of great ladies and what a fantastic way to break in your new Hoyt

Hey Rainman, will the Ill dnr post those drawn or do we find out by receiving our permit mid August?

A friend called the DNR just the other day and they told him there were THOUSANDS of non-resident archery tags still available. I would not worry about not getting one. I'm just not sure how they notify everyone....I'll do some checking.

All Non-residents hunters who applied for combination archery permits during the June 2009 application period will receive their permits in the mail by mid August.
