Help!!!!!!

Ok, guys and gals. I have to write a paper and I'm kinda stuck. I need ideas. Unfortunately I can't write about what I want. I have to choose a pre-approved topic. The one I chose was Alternative medicine vs conventional medicine.

My 3 topic sentences are that alternative medicine is preventive, less costly and provides more personal autonomy than conventional medicine.

I need some other ideas for topic sentences. I'm having issues finding the research to back up the topic sentences, which is required, of course. It might be easier if I could just Google it, but I can only use the library

I know this is cheating, per se, but I used to read the books that I found in the library (I should say skim them—I have a very useful talent of being able to skim chapters/articles and get the main idea without having to read anything in depth.). Then I would find several that said basically the same thing and use that as a topic sentence. So, instead of choosing what I wanted to say and finding research to back it up, I was finding what the research said and using that to come up with my selling points.

Look for books, articles, even medical journals (JAMA, RN ) that talk about homeopathic medicine.
Alternative medicine can include accupuncture--for pain relief, stop bad habits such as smoking & weight loss; accupressure; use of herbs and natural ingredients for ailments as opposed to pills/meds made by pharmaceutical companies, although some pharm. companies are starting to produce more homeopathic meds.

If I were you, I would write a paper on how I tried a combination of conventional and alternative medicines on a poor deer I saw take a fatal dose of Easton. Unfortunately... he didn't make it. So now you will have to find another one and retrace your steps. See... it's all for the good of medicine.

If you could only somehow manage to find that missing ingredient... that one thing that keeps them alive after they have thrown themselves, selflessly mind you, in the lethal path of that arrow to save a leaf on the ground. Why... you could be the next Madame Currie.
