Man, I wish I could go on some of the hunts I am reading about. I do try to slide out for one week each season to somewhere besides North Carolina. Still looking at options for 2008, whitetail is near the top of the list. Checking into driving to Illinois, maybe Iowa or hopping a plane for Canada. I would like an elk but I am 0 for 3 in that department so far. If anyone have some good suggestions, pass them along.

I don't nearly have enough vacation time
So far it will be hogs in OK, black bear in New Brunswick and antelope somewhere out west.

You may have to tie it. Seeing something that big may adversly effect my bow skills!

nchunter54..... There are some awesome places to hunt elk, and I use to guide in a few of them in New Mexico. The areas are draw only or you can buy a land owner tag, but that is pretty expensive. If you was to draw an archery tag though, there are plenty of elk. I took a freind that is handicap down there this year, and he had plenty of shots. If you want any info drop me a line.
