bh9797, know the feeling. drafted out of HS. but when they found out about 7 knee surgeries and a dislocating shoulder, they changed their mind. imagine that. no one was interested in a catcher with those problems......

TLC I hear that I was catcher for 20 years since I was 4. But it was fun while it lasted.Got to play in Yankee and Shea Stadium.

Football and wrestling here, only big stadium I was in was Camp Randall (university of Wisconsin) while at a Long snapper and kicker camp. Got to meet Barry Alvarez, the year after they won the Rose Bowl

football., basketball., baseball. would have played hockey but the folks moved from a big hockey town where i did play hockey ., and then to a small ,..i mean real small town ., that didn't have hockey!

Varsity swim team (medley, freestyle, and butterfly), and water polo. Did the marching band thing. Played little league baseball for years and years (mostly first base) outside of school and cross-country in junior high school. We were swimming an average of 5 miles/day, 5 days/week (practicing twice/day). Marine Corps bootcamp was pretty easy in comparison looking back, although you wouldn't be able to tell that I did any of that stuff nowadays!
