Buffalo and Trempealeau counties in Wisconsin for whitetails and on the Mississippi River for carp, buffalo, and gar. Yes I also think Kentucky is a sleeper state, the next Kansas.

be happy you have a place. A country singer bout the land we leased, plowed it under and that was the sad end to the "Racoon Hunting Club of Dallas, Ga" to which I was a proud member. At least I have tons of wonderful memories but I still miss it.

Now that I am away it is hard to find anyone with a pace where regular folks can come to hunt. I hope you still have your place for many years to come!

I think my little brother just landed us another place to hunt this year! Seems that in his traveling around his home town ,he re-met a guy who used to allow my brother's ex boss to hunt his property. The ex boss has passed away and all the guys he used to hunt with just show up for dove season. This guy has close to 800 acres and a bunch of it is in corn and alfalfa, for his cows.

Guess who got the exclusive right to pop groundhogs for the remainder of the summer, invited for the dove season opener and the onlyest ones to be deer hunting ? HMMMMMM??????????

US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
