I shot a doe last night in 6" of snow in PA (and forgot my camera at home). Here is a crappy cell phone pic until I get the pics from my friend who took some with his digital later at his house.

20 yard shot, from the ground, uphill. (The angle of the arrow is deceiving, it wasn't THAT steep of a shot, but I completely took out the heart putting a nice big X in it with a Thunderhead 100!) The blood trail was a red carpet for all of the 30 yards she traveled! (Gary or whoever, if the pics are too gory and you have to remove them, I understand).

Then I got a text from Scott and Brian that a BBD hit the ground this morning and they asked me to post this pic they sent. They'll have to fill in the story later!

BTW, did I mention I leave in the morning to go spend a week with those two jokers?! haha Look out Illinois, here I come!!

Congrats on the deer, guys!
I wished I'd had my digital camera, there was a red carpet from the "scene of the crime" all the way to the "victim" like that!
