Day 17 Evening

Didnt see anything until near dark. And it was the MAN!!!! The 10 point I want so bad. This was the first time I hunted this stand we had the right weather. He was about 100 or so yards away. Tommorrow we are hanging a stand for a west wind. I think we are going to get a chance. Well thats at least what I keep telling myself.

I regretted not going out this morning until it started pouring!!!

Hope you stayed dry, if not I hope the deer were moving!!!

Day 18 evening

Hung a stand and hunted it the same night. Did see 5 doe with one of them in range but let walk. I am waiting for the man but he didnt showup.

Day 19 evening

It poured but I did see 4 doe and a decent buck I believe to be an 8 point. I also had the weirdest thing happen but thats another story in its self. Lets just say I filled one of my tags out a little to early. And no I didnt shoot it before the season started. Like I said its another story in itself. Its definetly a mistake I wont make again.

Finally saw 3 deer within bow range last night...too bad I already have my doe. I also saw 13 turkeys...from the way things are looking it will be one helluva spring gobbler season again!

Day 20 evening

Saw 3 does again. Seeing lots of movement hopefully are scouting from this summer pays off. I am not disappointed I didnt get a shot at a buck yet. But I sure am anxious to!
