I've been sitting here, reading about all ya'll getting to hunt. Finally, Bow season starts tomorrow. Unfortunately, I've gotta work tomorrow 'til 5 but I'll hit the woods after work even if it's to just sit there! I've got Monday off though.

Maybe sumpin good will happen for me...Wish me luck!

3 PM and my wife calls me at work.
"Um, HI! Have you got anything planned for this afternoon, after you get off? Me and some folks from work are meeting up around 5:30 for dinner and maybe a movie. Would you want to join us?"


DEEEEEPPPP SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Sure Honey, I'd love to."

I figured what the heck. I don't get to see some of these folks very often. If I got off from work, rushed home, changed and shagged butt across the mountain, I'd get there about time to turn around and go home anyway. Ole SOL drops down behind the mountain pretty quick and it's a long haul up to my stand anyway....on top of that it's in the low 80s this afternoon.

Ha! I'll be up and gone Monday morning before she even thinks of something for me to do on my day off!


Ya'll have a good couple of days...I'm off to spend some quality time with the wife, just wished she'd get back in shape to spend quality time in the woods.
