Default Question for Ralph...

I saw on one show, you shot a recurve inside at a range, Do you ever hunt with the recurve? Are you planning any shows with you using traditional equipment?

Just curious

Black bears are the best quarry for a recurve....you can set up to have them right in your lap making it an easy instictive shot and they give you a little more time to pick your shot that a whitetail. I shot my bear at about 8 yds with my recurve....talk about exciting!! I'm trying to get a WT this year with my Gamemaster II recurve....no luck yet though

I found this guy on TexasBoars.com when we were researching the hog hunt.

All he uses are recurves. Not just hogs either... He's got a bunch of good videos.

Oh and good Lord he uses a broadhead that weighs like 195 grains+ and wooden arrows. Can you say "HAMMER TIME" ???

Those Broadheads are $65.00 for 3 of them! I'll stick with my Snuffers and 125 magnus 2 blade heads, thank you.

I did score some Muzzy Phamton heads in 100 and 125 in a trade the other day. They look like some ok heads, I'll give them the Wolf test and see how they fare the test.
