Default New World Record Elk???
I just got this in email....

Has anyone else heard about this????

Either way this thing is a monster!!!!

"This Elk was killed with a bow in the Selway-Bitterroot
Wilderness. He green scored 575" and should net out at about 530"
non typical. He has and unbelievable outside spread of 79".
This is the biggest bull ever taken with any weapon."

I believe this is a picture I saw last season going around. It looks very familiar to me and if I remember the measurements are way off or photoshop measurement

Seen that last year was shot inside of an fenced area I beleive if I remember correctly.

Not sure but that looks like the Elk that was shot on public property.

The story I read somewhere was that a guide spotted the elk and then took bids on it while he had several people keeping up with it and the "winning" "hunter" paid somewhere around 130K to take the shot.

Rumors............amazing how they get started and grow. This pic/rumor went around last year.

The Spider Bull (not the above bull) was taken a month ago in Utah by a man that had a governor's tag. On public land. Well over 500. I'll try to locate a pic of it.
